DECHEM GLASSES
Water, the essence of life, is elusive. As a liquid, it runs through our fingers, and we cannot catch it. In its frozen state, it melts in our hands and runs away again. When heated, it evaporates into invisibility. In the course of time, however, various devices – large and small – have enabled us to capture, control or collect this precious good; such as canals, wells, vessels … and drinking glasses.
The tiny imperfections and bubbles in your purchase are a testament to its handmade nature.
Our local manufacturing is more than just production—it’s the heartbeat of our products. We craft our glass pieces, produce our metal elements and assemble our lights within a 100 km radius around Prague. We intentionally work with small Czech workshops and follow an on-demand production strategy for many of our products. This personal approach both allows us to ensure the high quality of our products and gives us the freedom to customize our pieces to the needs of our clients.
